Swedish Lapphund

The Swedish Lapphund is loyal, brave and intelligent. He has a great will-to-please and is an excellent working dog, but can also be fairly stubborn.

He is friendly and very devoted to his owner and children and likes to participate in family activities. From his past as a reindeer herder, he is alert and likes to bark.



The coat is long and abundant, the long outer coat is water and snow repellent. The coat requires little maintenance outside of the moulting period.
